How do you keep scoop after scoop of creamy frozen custard looking perfect? Shoot in a open-windowed New York studio in the middle of one of the coldest winters on record. And who do you hire to do this? Goodby Silverstein & Partners commissioned Toronto-based food and still-life photographer Michael Crichton for a new campaign for Dreyer’s Frozen Custard. Michael worked with stylist Victoria Granof on shots that feature his trademark crisp, clean imagery and flawless lighting.
“This shoot brought the talented and (brave!) team from Goodby Silverstein & Partners in California to New York during a record breaking winter in the northeast,” added Michael. “Not a problem when you are shooting 25+ shots a day of frozen custard! That generates a little heat, and the results are sweet.”
